Serving young people throughout Bedfordshire for over 30 years

LuBYA: Luton and Bedfordshire Youth Association

Has over 70 affiliated clubs across Luton and Bedfordshire representing over 4000 young people.

From July to December 2004 LuBYA engaged over 900 young people in a range of activities.

Was founded in 1975 by John Chatterley who still supports our work; and others supported him including Colin Ball.

The organisation was originally called the Bedfordshire Youth Association (BYA).

Objectives:

Promoting and developing young people's activities.

Improving and expanding the service provided by LuBYA to existing members.

Partnership working with other agencies across Luton and Bedfordshire.

Raising the profile of the organisation and improving the public image.

Spread our sphere of influence by continuing to recruit new youth groups into LuBYA and encourage their particpation in events organised by the Association.
